Flex a lite reversible 16 inch syclone s blade electric fan. According to flex a lite tech support they recommend cutting the fan off with a dremel tool and reinstalling the electric motor and fan blade as a kit. I installed it with the derale 16738 180 degree farenheit single stage electric fan controller. It is whisper quite but does draw about 17 amps off the power system.

My only complaint but not really a complaint was the flex a lite is considerably louder than the no name fan. The 16 syclone works well. Trying to take shortcuts and attempting to pull the old fan off the old motor and you will risk breaking the plastic bracket system that the electric motor mounts to. I wasn t sold on the wavy fan design being quieter or pulling 20 more air but they work.

After some research the flex a lite seemed like a good fit and i was comforted to know that it was an american made product. That in reality isn t a bad thing because now i know the fans are working. Right away just with a hand behind the fans with them on i could tell the flex a lite moved more air than the no name fan.
