Fix dripping water filter faucet.
Use adjustable pliers to remove the cap and collar.
Unscrew the leaking.
If your valves are stuck shut off the water main.
Use groove joint pliers to grip the old cartridge and pull it straight up.
Turn on the faucet and leave open allowing the remaining water in the line to empty into the sink.
Depressurize the filter by turning on the water faucet after the system until water stops.
Once you determine which side is leaking turn off both supply valves.
Determine which side of your faucet is leaking by shutting off the water supply valves one at a time.
Shut off the water after filter if possible.
Along those pipes somewhere will be handles that you can turn to shut off the water to your sink 1 x research source twist clockwise to shut off step 2 plug the drain.
Be careful not to break or damage either piece.
