X amanda noak started patenting his new roses and this was the first in 1990 released as flower carpet pink pp. This rose is the final product of a 35 year breeding program by dr. Werner noack of noack rosen a german rose breeder famous for his commitment to disease resistant hybrids. Carpet roses are a great way to add lovely color with little maintenance.

Its parents are r. Roses are considered a ground cover when they get no taller than 3 feet. Not recommended for those with seasonal allergies. In part shade two to three hours of sun per day there are fewer flowers.

Perfect for massing or as a large scale groundcover. Forms a low mound covered with velvety carmine red flowers with bright yellow centers. Up to 60 flowers and developing buds can be produced on a single stem and a mature plant can produce up to 2 000 roses during the season. They will bloom for you spring through fall.

The continuous flowering can add a splash of bright color to flower beds and borders. Highly disease resistant foliage emerges with a red tinge and matures to dark green with burgundy edges. They love the sun and require a minimum of 6 hours of full sun and look great in containers in borders mass plantings in urban gardens and as ground cover. An incredibly prolific bloomer that provides vivid color from spring until winter.

In full sun masses of flower clusters cover each flower carpet rose bush from spring to late autumn. The foliage is dense green and glossy on a bush with a good mounded shape. The fresh and iridescent blossoms are born atop a compact and dense bush of rich glossy. The rose ground cover grows from the base of the plant and spills across the ground or climbs over low walls.
